fanart for the warmup sketch, picked up a keychain from my table mates for him and then felt an urge to fanart...
seems he has 'ember' eyes, which is a very tricky effect to achieve I'm sure...but being square, they pulled it off nicely.
but it still bothers me that his head silhouette is so close to the design of sasuke from naruto ><. usually they make such distinct designs...ah well...maybe it's just me.

Now don't get me wrong...

I've still been producing like mad!
what happened is, I discovered the Non-paying jobs in the CA.org forums. So I applied for four (thinking it would be good practice/experience whilst I continued my job search), but never suspecting that ALL FOUR would reply! So I picked up 3 of them and politely turned down the fourth without burning the bridge for future crossing.
Two that I joined up with seem close to Funding, but I'm not depending on that, and yes they own the work I produce, so it's basically what I'd suppose 3 unpaid internships would be like. But I receive the experience I so badly need with working in a group of developers/concept artists.
All I'd like in return is a letter of req. and maybe even permission post some of the pieces done in my portfolio.
My web comic is still going strong and on schedule and the artwork is benefitting from my concept work! ^^<3

Trip down memory lane

I yearn for better times lately...
some of those times were spent on FFXI with good friends<3 and this doubled as practice for keeping with a 'look' of a game...though I didn't deviate very far, simply improvising the mithra's tunic and hat. the rest are to ref since the characters wouldn't look themselves otherwise.
it was good practice in butts/utili-panties, as well.
